Hospice Volunteers

Volunteers contribute significantly to Hospice Jinja. In the last three months the Hospice received many visitors and volunteers. At the beginning of this quarter we received Karen and Roberta from the Centre for Palliative Care - USA and Rose from PCAU.

Others were Fiona, a Registered nurse from the UK who came with Heather from Canada.  They stayed and worked with the Hospice team for 1 week.

During the same period, Anna, Sophie, Becky, Luke, and Laura all from UK also volunteered with us 3 days to 1 week each. All these were very helpful especially extending social support to our patients.
