Dr. Rory’s Visit

Dr Rory loved attending the daily outreach clinics which are held in the Grade 3 and 4 Health Clinics and visiting the patients’s homes with other members of palliative care team.

During his visit the Hospice was also visited by an American nurse and a social worker from the Netherlands. They also accompanied the palliative care team on home visitation, outreach clinic visits, hospital visitation and attendance at centre in Jinja.

Dr. Rory found the town of Jinja to be a safe, friendly place with ample accomodation and eating options. He is looking forward to returning again as a volunteer doctor in 2009.
